My neighbour-uMakhesto

Umakhebha, umakhe…we all have neighbours. We all know that the person sitting next to you or around you is your neighbour. Who at their church have those makhelwane ‘slogans’…”Makheee! uJesu uyakuthanda…” at mine we do it sometimes.
Anyway l want to talk about neigbhours from hoods-ekasi particularly ,because thats where l grew up.There is that one or two makhebhaz who are like family. You know almost everything about each other. The mothers are friends ,so the kids too. You cannot date that makhebha’s son/daughter because it wouldn’t feel right. They just give each other things …food anyway. ‘Hambo’nika uNaz’bani lokhu…’ ,spirit of sharing there. This same Makhesto is the one ,the only one you are comfortable for asking a plate of mealie meal and matches from lol.
However there is that other makhebha, you just talk to because you passing each other. If it wasnt because you use the same bustop and shops , you probably wouldn’t talk.
Then there is that makhebha who you always talk about and try by all means to avoid. That makhebha ‘loves’ things and always interferes in other people’s business. Even her kids are a problem other kids dont like them.Lina xua!
