How to survive even when your world is up-side down.

Am not some kind of an advisor or anything of that nature, but l believe some how my experiences and the little l know can be of help to someone. I have had many downs in life, and l have managed to pull through and leave them in the past. That is where they deserve to be. Terrible moments or worst memories are only good for references, to help you not make the same mistakes or go through the same route again. They should however, not in any way rule your present life. So when your life is up-side down, EVERYTHING IS TEMPORARY. A flower blooms but later dries up. In whatever situation you may be in, it may seem it is not going to change anytime soon but it will. The up-side world can be right again. It can be longer than you anticipated and sometimes it will hurt. Also, YOU ALWAYS DON’T HAVE TO “GET IT”. I have heard people say “everything happens for a reason” (l am one of them) truth is when your world is up-side down, those words are in no way consoling. It’s  easy for the other person to say it. When you are in the throes of a bad period, you want to know the reason for that, you want to get it. To get why it’s happening to you, well, l think you don’t have to because sometimes trying to find the reasons will not solve anything and in any case l think it just adds on to the burden. Remember, CHANGE LEADS TO GROWTH and that is if you let it. We need to accept change, however, if you resist in such a way that does not lead into something positive, you are just making it hard on yourself. Sometimes, just think of it as a situation that you were yet to face only you didn’t know when it was going to happen and what exactly it was going to be. So am saying life is not always going to be fun and awesome and what you want it to be, but there are going to be those up-side down moments. WORRYING WON’T CHANGE ANYTHING- I’m preaching to myself here, really. l  think I’m one of the biggest worrywarts in the world and l know worrying does not change anything but it is easy to. You can’t help it to find yourself thinking about the ‘what if’s’. Try not to worry, if you are like me it is going to be difficult but make it happen. Focus your energy on more productive things. For you to be able to do the above, you have to pray. Strength comes from God, and Him alone.
