Dear reader…

l had a very funny encounter today when l dropped off from the bustop going home. There was a group of boys standing by the corner and for me it is always difficult to pass a group of boys. Yea, its not easy to an extent that l even fail to mantain my pace hehehe. The way they look at you its as if they know that you gon lose your step, no, wait, they do know that it is going to happen or somehow their staring is going to make you uncomforatbale mxxxm. Guys stop that! Anyway, l drop off and one of the guys shouts at me, “ahhh abantu bayakhula madoda, nguwe lo!”
Oh yes this is how he said it. So l look at him and l look around. l was confused as to who he’s talking to but he is looking at me. l say to myself but wena bhudi angikwaz phela. He comes closer, still going on about how people grow, how l have grown. Mina ahh!! But because l kinda sorta (not totally) love things l start asking the guy questions, oh yes l am very good at that. So ngiyambuza, who do you think l am? Where do you think you know me from? He fails to answer my questions and this is when it hit me…bekungumangena njani!!! How could l not have known. So the guy goes on and on and on about how beautiful l am and l will not disagree with him. We talk and talk and by the way, it was a boring conversation. Note that l still dont know his name and yena he knows my fake name. l hope l am not the only girl with a fake name, if so, am extra-ordinary, in a special kinda way lol.So, he finally introduces himself and he said he is Sam. Because we were approaching my destination (my home) l had to come up with a plan of getting rid of him. l had three reasons for that,

1). l did not want him to know where l stay. You can never trust these boys…zabona thutshu.

2). You know how neighbours are like… l will not go on.

3). Our conversation was boring.

So l saw a man approaching, l do not know him and he is definateley not from around the hood and l used him for my escape plan. “Sam, bye-bye nangu’babam”, l said that moving fast ahead of him. He was surprised but bek’mele ngenzeni magents? He said his byes but l was waaay ahead.
