AIHC is located 60 km out of Bulawayo ,along Kezi road. It was founded by Mr Pathisa Nyathi a renowned historian.The site is aimed at researching and documenting African cultural practices .Amagugu Cultural Centre is a hands-on participatory place where visitors get to do cultural activities such as making of fire ,setting up traps for birds and small animals and grinding with stone.

AIHC has had many schools coming to visit , amongst are Nust,Pumula high,Fusi primary school,Cbc college,Girls college and King George .Also they have hosted International visitors and conducted workshops for ndebele teachers.
At AIHC they also have games ,traditional games that were played back then like tsoro .There also are trees that are planted in the yard with botanical and ndebele names.It is at amagugu where you get full knowledge about those trees and their uses.
Again at the cultural centre there is basketry where a lady enlightens visitors about the whole process and are allowed to sew a few lines
Recently there was a commissioning ceremony of the mural paintings on the parameter walls.There are many drawings on the walls carrying great knowledge with them which at AIHC they will impart with you.There is a curio shop at the place where basketry ,beads and all cultural stuff is sold.Basicaly AIHC is the ‘IT’ place,for leisure as family and friends and for learning about history and culture.There is a lot l haven’t said about the place ,go see for yourself.Prices range from $1 to $5 .
